Pay a Person

Pay a Person (P2P)

Pay a Person makes it easy to send or receive money with other individuals using just their cell phone number or email address - anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re paying a babysitter, splitting a bill with a friend, or sending money to a family member, transfers are quick and convenient through online or mobile banking.

How It Works - Online Banking:

  • Log into online banking on your computer or through The Peoples Community Bank mobile app (details below). 
  • Send or request money by simply entering the individual's cell phone number, email address or account number.
    • Sending Money: A text or email will be sent to the recipient. He/She can accept the incoming funds by inputting and verifying his or her account information. 
  • After a successful transfer, your contacts will be saved in an address book for future use.

How It Works - Mobile Banking:

  • Open your Peoples Community Bank App and select Pay Bills and Pay a Person from the side menu
  • Select I want to... from the top left
  • Select Pay a Person
  • Enter the phone number or email address of the person you wish to transfer funds
  • Verify the details and confirm the payment.

Features:

  • Unlimited Person-to-Person transfers.
  • This process takes about 3-5 business days.
  • For security reasons, access to P2P and A2A transfers must be set up by your Personal Banker. Transfers are initially limited to $500. If you’d like to permanently increase your limit, simply contact your Personal Banker and they’ll be happy to assist.

Transfer Between My Accounts

This feature allows you to transfer money to/from accounts that are in your name at other financial institutions.

Features:

  • This process works via Automatic Clearing House (ACH) and takes 3 to 5 business days
  • Unlimited incoming A2A transfers to your accounts at The Peoples Community Bank without service charge
  • For security reasons, access to P2P and A2A transfers must be set up by your Personal Banker. Transfers are initially limited to $500. If you’d like to permanently increase your limit, simply contact your Personal Banker and they’ll be happy to assist.
