Customer Service Representative

Locations: Richland Center & Barneveld

Hours: 

  • 37-40 hours per week
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00-5:00, Friday: 8:00-5:30
  • Every other Saturday – 9:00-12:00

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect for new business.
  • Actively refers loan, trust, insurance, and brokerage services to appropriate financial institution specialists.
  • Assists supervisor in establishing objectives and plans for location.
  • Participates in sales, service and product training meetings.
  • Represents the financial institution in community affairs and civic organizations.
  • Processes deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments.
  • Sells cashier’s checks and money orders.
  • Cross sells banking products and services
  • Assists customers with account maintenance.
  • Assists customers in the safe deposit box area to access a box.
  • Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into computer records.
  • Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
  • Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as consumer and mortgage loans, IRAs, certificates of deposit, safe deposit/leased boxes, and money orders.
  • Receives mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensures the payments match balances due. 
  • Generates customer receipts.
  • Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
  • Counts, checks and packages coin and currency.
  • Is responsible for checking night depository bags and recording proper information on the financial institution’s forms.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved training program.
  • Excellent sales, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of financial products and services.
  • Above average computer and keyboard skills.
  • Good organizational skills.

Human Resources Administrator & Executive Administrative Assistant

Location: Mazomanie

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Human Resources Duties:

  • Develop and maintain the employee handbook
  • Administer wage & salary functions, including maintaining job descriptions and organizational charts
  • Handle the posting of new positions, onboarding new employees, and managing exit processes for departing employees
  • Oversee employee benefits, annual performance reviews, and all employee training initiatives, ensuring new hires stay on track with their required training
  • Frequently meet one-on-one with staff & supervisors on performance management, improvement plans, and career development.

Executive Administrative Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the President and senior management
  • Act as the training administrator and coordinate educational needs with department supervisors
  • Assist the CFO with reports for the board of directors, ALCO, and shareholder meetings
  • Monitor bank policies, committee minutes, and vendor contracts

Education & Experience:

  • Associates degree or equivalent education (or an equivalent combination of experience and education)
  • 2-3 years of human resources or administrative assistant experience
  • Strict adherence to customer & employee confidentiality
  • Ability to use current off-the-shelf computer programs for common office functions and ability to use the functional business systems as needed
